Clear rules. Human review.

How we review trading practices.

Automated risk systems monitor every account for the practices below and flag matching patterns.

A flagged pattern is reviewed by a person before any decision.

A first occurrence normally results in a written warning to your registered email and dashboard; a repeat or a serious occurrence may fail the current phase, end the account, or exclude the affected profit under clause 10.

Every flag is reviewed by a person.Automated monitoring finds matching patterns. A human decides what happens next.

Prohibited practices

16 practices

The following are prohibited on every FundedIQ account:

  1. Price and data-feed exploitation

Using delayed, frozen, stale, misquoted, off-market, or demonstrably erroneous prices or exploiting a platform or data-feed defect

  2. Latency arbitrage and platform abuse

Latency arbitrage, server flooding, excessive order messaging, denial-of-service behaviour, or conduct designed to impair or manipulate a platform

  3. Cross-account hedging and risk transfers

Coordinated opposite positions or risk-free transfer of exposure between different traders, profiles, or controlled groups

  4. Third-party account control

Account passing, account management, signal execution, copy services, or any third-party control of decisions or credentials

  5. Manipulating objectives and rewards

Transactions with no genuine simulated-market rationale that are designed to game a target, trading-day, consistency, reward, rebate, or exposure rule

  6. Circumventing account and trading limits

Circumventing instrument, leverage, position, allocation, country, payment, device, or account limits

  7. Non-public confidential information

Trading on non-public confidential information obtained through FundedIQ or unlawfully from another source

  8. Gambling-style trading

Gambling-style trading, including all-in positions, martingale, doubling, or adding to a losing position with the same or a larger size, and any approach that relies on chance rather than skill to reach a target or a reward

  9. One-sided betting

One-sided betting: repeatedly taking the same direction on one instrument or on correlated instruments without genuine risk management, so that the outcome rests on a single directional bet

  10. Grid trading

Grid trading: a ladder of orders at regular price steps on the same instrument placed without regard to direction or risk

  11. Price chasing

Price chasing: rapid reversals or re-entries within seconds of a loss that chase the market rather than follow a plan

  12. Tick scalping and high-frequency abuse

Tick scalping, burst or high-frequency order placement, quote stuffing, or any pattern of ultra-short trades designed to exploit micro-movements, feed latency, or the platform's risk controls

  13. Copy and mirror trading

Copy trading, mirror trading, trade copiers, or coordinated entries that match another account in instrument, timing, and size, whether the other account belongs to the same or a different person

  14. Restricted news, instruments and times

Trading during a restricted news window, on a restricted instrument, or at a restricted time where the Product Schedule or these Trading Rules restrict it

  15. Unauthorised automated trading

Using an expert advisor, bot, script, or automation that the Product Schedule does not permit, that is not your own, or that copies or reproduces another person's trades

  16. Sudden material changes in behaviour

A sudden, material change in trading behaviour, size, or frequency, in particular after most of a target has been reached, that indicates the account is not being traded by the verified trader with the same genuine strategy, in which case an explanation may be requested before a decision is made
