Refund Policy
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
This Refund Policy explains when fees paid to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("FundedIQ," "we," "us," or "our") for access to our evaluation challenges and simulated trading accounts are and are not refundable. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service. Because FundedIQ sells access to a simulated, rules-based evaluation product and not a financial product, security, or investment, the refund principles below reflect the nature of what is being purchased. By purchasing a challenge or otherwise paying a fee to us, you agree to this Refund Policy. Where mandatory consumer-protection or cooling-off laws apply to you, nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and those rights prevail over any conflicting term here.
1. What You Are Purchasing
When you buy a challenge from FundedIQ, you are paying a one-time fee for access to a paid evaluation challenge and an associated simulated (demo) trading account governed by defined rules, such as a profit target, a daily-loss limit, and a maximum drawdown. You are not opening a brokerage account, depositing trading capital, or purchasing a financial product, security, or investment.
No real client money is traded. All accounts are simulated, and any performance shown is hypothetical and has inherent limitations. Passing a challenge may lead to a funded simulated account and eligibility for performance-based rewards or a profit split, all of which remain subject to the applicable rules, identity verification, and the discretion described in the Terms of Service.
The fee purchases the access, evaluation service, and infrastructure we make available to you. It is not a deposit, is not held on your behalf, and does not represent tradable funds.
2. Core Refund Stance
Challenge fees are generally NON-REFUNDABLE once account credentials have been issued and/or the challenge has started, because at that point the access and evaluation service you paid for have been delivered.
Before credentials are issued and the challenge has started, you may be eligible to cancel and receive a refund of the challenge fee if you make the request within [REFUND WINDOW] of purchase, subject to the conditions in this Policy. Any statutory or mandatory cooling-off right that applies to you under the law of your jurisdiction operates in addition to, and takes precedence over, this stance.
Where you have a mandatory cooling-off right but expressly request that we begin providing the service (for example, by activating your account or downloading credentials) before that period ends, you acknowledge that starting the service may reduce or extinguish that right to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Refund generally available: request made before credentials are issued and the challenge has started, within [REFUND WINDOW].
- Refund generally NOT available: credentials issued and/or challenge started, outside any applicable cooling-off period.
- Mandatory legal rights always apply where they cannot be lawfully excluded.
3. No Refunds for Failing, Breaching, or Change of Mind
We do not provide refunds where you fail a challenge, breach a challenge rule (for example, by exceeding the daily-loss limit or maximum drawdown), or otherwise do not meet the evaluation objectives. Failing or breaching a challenge means the evaluation ran as intended, and the fee for that evaluation has been earned.
We also do not provide refunds for a change of mind, dissatisfaction with trading results, or non-use of the account after access has been granted and the challenge has started. The purchase price reflects access to the service, not a guarantee of any particular outcome.
Nothing in this section requires you to pay for a service we failed to make available due to our own fault; where we are genuinely at fault, Section 5 (Duplicate and Erroneous Charges) and the Terms of Service govern the remedy.
4. Discretionary Refunds and Resets
We may, at our sole discretion and without creating any obligation to do so in other cases, offer a refund, credit, account reset, or replacement challenge in individual circumstances, such as a verified technical fault on our side that materially prevented you from using the service as intended.
Any goodwill refund, credit, or reset we choose to offer is made as an exception, is not an admission of liability, and does not waive our right to apply this Policy in full to any other purchase or request.
5. Duplicate and Erroneous Charges
If you are charged more than once for the same order (a duplicate charge), or you are charged in error through no fault of your own, the incorrect or excess amount is refundable once we have verified the error against our records and those of our payment processor.
Please report any suspected duplicate or erroneous charge to us promptly at [SUPPORT EMAIL], including the transaction reference, date, amount, and payment method, so we can investigate and, where confirmed, arrange the correction.
6. Crypto Payments and Refund Method
We accept cryptocurrency payments (including USDT and other supported cryptocurrencies) through our third-party payment processor, Match2Pay, and may accept card or other methods. Cryptocurrency and blockchain payments are generally final and irreversible once confirmed on the relevant network, and by their nature cannot be reversed by us in the way a card payment can.
Where we approve a refund of a payment originally made in cryptocurrency, the refund is issued in [REFUND CURRENCY/METHOD]. Because cryptocurrency values fluctuate and networks charge transfer fees, you bear the exchange-rate variance between the time of your payment and the time of any refund, as well as any applicable network or processing fees. This means the amount you receive may be more or less than the fiat-equivalent value of your original payment.
For security and anti-fraud reasons, any approved cryptocurrency refund is sent only to a verified wallet or the original source of payment, using the same asset and network unless we agree otherwise. We may require identity or wallet-ownership verification before releasing a refund. We are not responsible for funds lost due to an incorrect, unverified, incompatible, or unsupported wallet address that you provide.
- Crypto and blockchain payments are generally final and irreversible.
- Approved refunds are issued in [REFUND CURRENCY/METHOD].
- You bear exchange-rate variance and network/processing fees.
- Refunds are sent only to a verified wallet or the original source of payment.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at [SUPPORT EMAIL] so we can review it. Most issues can be resolved directly and more quickly than through a formal dispute.
Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute that we determine to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith, or that seeks to reverse a fee for a service that was properly delivered, is a breach of the Terms of Service. In such cases we may suspend or terminate your account and access, void any pending or claimed rewards or payouts, and claw back or set off amounts owed, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
We may share transaction records and related information with our payment processor, financial institutions, and dispute-resolution bodies as necessary to respond to a chargeback or dispute, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. How to Request a Refund and Expected Timeframe
To request a refund, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] using the email address associated with your account, and include your order or transaction reference, the date and amount of the charge, the payment method used, and the reason for your request.
We aim to review eligible refund requests and, where approved, initiate the refund within [REFUND PROCESSING TIMEFRAME]. The time for funds to reach you after we initiate a refund depends on your payment method, payment processor, bank, or the relevant blockchain network, and is outside our control.
We may request additional information or verification (including identity or wallet-ownership verification) before approving or issuing a refund, and processing timeframes are paused while we await a response from you.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase, unless a later change is required by law or is more favorable to you.
Material changes will take effect from the date we post the updated Policy or otherwise notify you as described in the Terms of Service. Your continued use of the service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy for future purchases.
